about
'Drama was one of my favourite songs to create. It started capella and went on a long invigorating creative journey from there.
It’s about being caught in the middle of destructive drama, severely throwing off your inner peace to the point of losing touch with your sense of self. It’s written from the point of view of both the drama and the receiver. Sonically I wanted to create a bold backbone with cheeky and fluttery flair.'
lyrics
Drama, drama, boom boom bam
You sure look grand for a one man band
Drama, drama, boom boom bam
You sure look grand for a one man band
Living for it, living for it bit by bit
Dog eats dog and I’m loosing it
Did you get the parcels from Poppy’s please
Signed and seared for the canine feast
Wham bam, thank you mam
For lots of anecdotes I didn’t understand
Fellow follow, don’t follow through
Everything comes back to you
Drama, drama, boom boom bam
You sure look grand for a one man band
Drama, drama, boom boom bam
You sure look grand for a one man band
Living for it, living for it bit by bit
Watch your neck or you’re getting bit
I think I’ll go neckless of chain link please
Charmed to meet, fall at your feet
Wham bam, thank you mam
For lots of anecdotes I didn’t understand
Fellow follow, don’t follow through
Everything comes back to you
Drama, drama, boom boom bam
You sure look grand for a one man band
Drama, drama, boom boom bam
You sure look grand for a one man band
Fancy feeling feral on the intercom
And I can see the sparkle of the yellow brick road
Brick by brick we’re making our way to the throne
Just a little witty never got you wrong
Drama
Drama, drama, boom boom bam
You sure look grand for a one man band
Drama, drama, boom boom bam
You sure look grand for a one man band

Equally a poet as a musician, My Life as A Moth takes pride in her lyrics. The challenge of trying to articulate the
intangible, to attempt to capture her emotions & experiences lightning in a bottle is what drives her.
'Chest Of Dress Up' is the first single from the project, seeing Rob Ellis (PJ Harvey, Bat For Lashes), Adrian Utley (Portishead) & Ben Christophers at the helm of production....more
